This is a Mahasukta which has more than 3 ruchas (Slokas or couplets). Vedic Suktas are Mantras that are believed to have great power. It was written by Sage Dirghatma. The hymn renders praise to Lord Vishnu. Those who recite this Stotra can receive Vishnu’s blessings and get all their wishes fulfilled.
